Trail Sections

The Severn Canoe Trail is a helpful source of information to visitors to Shropshire who would like to explore the UK’s longest river. Please note that though the River Severn has a public right of navigation from Pool Quay near Welshpool to Stourport there is no automatic right to either enter or leave the river at all locations. The right of navigation does not give a canoeist or other member of the general public the right to cross privately owned land or launch a boat without landowner permission.
